Belinda’s is the most lovely quirky bistro nestled in the historic town of Arundel in West Sussex, just a stone’s throw from Arundel castle. It has an incredible history and Belinda’s can be found on the town’s map dating back over 120 years.
Recently taken over by new owners, they got in touch to rebrand and reposition Belinda’s to the market. We worked closely with this fabulous team to undertake competitor research, define a brand personality and voice and refine the market positioning. Once we were clear on the brand strategy, this helped guide the logo design and visual identity development.
After supplying the initial concepts, the Belinda’s team had a clear favourite which was then tweaked and the final logo design, as well as brand graphic, alternate logo layouts and submark was agreed. All the logo files, as well as brand elements and a brand guidelines document was supplied to help the Belinda’s team apply the new branding consistently. We also created new signage designs and a new menu design in the new branding.
The new brand launch is due to officially take place in Autumn with a completely new website to follow sometime after. I really look forward to continuing to work with the team to design and launch their new website, and provide ongoing design and marketing support.
